Tequila
Tequila (aka
Tequilacat) was born sometime in the spring of 1997 and came to
live with me in August of that year. She was left at a pet shop
where my friend Sabra worked. Sabra, being the softie she is,
brought Tequila home and added her to her group of farm cats.
On a weekend visit Lucy and I made to Sabra's farm, she plunked
the somewhat feral kitty in my arms and said "hold her for
a minute." HA! That minute has lasted for over four years
and I see no end in sight! I know...who's the softie now?

Archie
Archibald Bo MacLeod is an extremely gentle and loving border
collie. He was born in the spring of 1998 and I adopted him in
July, 2000. The folks he lived with before me didn't seem to appreciate
him or recognize all the love he had to give. Thankfully, they
gave him up but when he came to me he was afraid of nearly everything
including his own shadow. Since he's been here, he's been making
a lot of progress though. He is becoming less and less frightened
of life and turning into a wonderful friend! He loves playing
with Tequila and is in heaven when other dogs come to visit.

Lydia
Lydia Lamb came to live with us early in 2002. In mid-February,
I rescued a cat that had been hit by a car and took it to the
local animal shelter. While I was there I found this beautiful
little girl who quickly found her way to my home...and into our
hearts. She's a sweet, sweet dog in spite of her iron will! She's
still obviously a puppy and has a great time keeping Archie company!
